The director of studies opens an exam series; its windows project onto the calendar automatically.

Marks enter the UNEB/NCDC grading pipeline. A term exam and a holiday test use the same machinery.

Approved results flow onto report cards and to the parents who should see them.
Why it’s different
Exams flow into one grading pipeline.
Term exam or holiday test, marks enter the same UNEB-correct pipeline and land on the same report card. The DOS owns the states, so “released to parents” is exactly that.
Holiday and term exams share one UNEB-correct grading pipeline.
The director of studies owns the series. “Released” means released. It reaches the exact audience, on the same report pipeline as term exams.
