Boarding
Tonight’s roll
Senior dorms · 9:30pm check
108 / 110
accounted for
Rooms
The roll won’t close while a child is unaccounted for.
What it does
Every boarder accounted for, every single night.
Roll-call that accounts for everyone
Tonight’s roll closes only when every boarder is present, in the bay, or signed out — a gap can’t be quietly rounded away.
Leave-out (exeat)
A boarder’s departure runs a configurable approval chain — matron, nurse, bursar — before anyone may leave.
Verified collection at the gate
The gate releases a child only to a verified collector — a signed guardian QR or a one-time code — re-checked on the spot.
Welfare, handled with gravity
A welfare incident records its severity and category first; the sensitive detail is sealed, never left in plain sight.
How it works
From start to settled, in three beats.
- 1
Settle
Boarders are placed in dorms and rooms, each with the matron and master responsible for it.
- 2
Account
Roll-call closes only when every boarder is present, in the bay, or signed out on a valid exeat.
- 3
Release
At leave-out the gate verifies the collector — a signed QR or one-time code — before a child departs.
Why it’s different
A roll-call that refuses to lie.
A boarding register is only worth something if it can’t close on a gap. Here every boarder is present, accounted for, or signed out through a proper exeat — and the gate proves who collected them. Custody you can show a parent, not a tick in a book.
Custody you can prove: a roll-call that won’t close on a gap, and a gate that checks who collects.
Leave-out
requested for a boarder
Approval chain
Gate verifies
collector, then releases
A boarder leaves only to a verified collector — a signed QR or a one-time code, re-checked at the gate.

The artifact
An exeat pass, end to end.
One leave-out: the reason, the approval chain that cleared it, the collector who was verified, and the gate that signed the boarder out — the whole custody trail on a single pass.
